THE QUESTIONS THAT MATTER
You stay in control.
Do I need to install any software?+
No. BrakorDetail runs in your web browser, on a computer, tablet or phone, and adapts to your screen. An Android app is in development.
Can I try it before subscribing?+
Yes, in two ways. The demonstration space is open to everyone, with no sign-up: you can change anything, and it is reset every night. And every plan includes a free trial, shown on its card: nothing is charged during the trial, and you are notified two days before it ends.
How does the subscription work?+
Choose a monthly or yearly plan and pay by card through Stripe. You immediately receive the link to create your space, then an invoice with every payment, in your space and by email. You can change plans whenever you like without losing your data.
Can I stop whenever I want?+
Yes, with no commitment: turn off automatic renewal on the Subscription page and your access stays open until the end of the paid period. Changed your mind right after subscribing? You can withdraw within 14 days, with a refund in proportion to the unused days.
What happens to my data if I stop?+
It belongs to you. You can download a full archive and the exports for your accountant at any time (Settings › Data). After your subscription ends, your data is kept for 12 months, in case you come back, then permanently deleted.
Is my data safe?+
It is hosted on servers located in the European Union and backed up every night. The connection is encrypted, two-factor authentication is available for every account and a log keeps track of important actions. Card payments are handled by Stripe: bank details never pass through BrakorDetail.
Can I bring the customers from my old software?+
Yes. Export your list of customers and vehicles as a CSV file, from your old software or from Excel, then import it: columns are recognised automatically, you check everything before importing, and duplicates are avoided.
Can I work with my team?+
Yes. Invite your colleagues and give each one a suitable role (administrator, manager, employee, accountant, read-only): everyone sees what they need. The number of users depends on your plan.
Can my customers book online?+
Yes, with the plans that include online booking. Your customers choose the service, the options and a free slot on your booking page, with a card deposit if you wish, paid directly into your account. A ready-to-copy “Book” button for your website is provided.
Do my customers have their own space?+
Yes, depending on your plan. You share a private, time-limited link: your customer finds their appointments, documents and vehicle photos, answers quotes, and pays invoices online if you accept card payments.
Are my invoices compliant with French rules?+
Yes: mandatory mentions, continuous numbering, VAT breakdown or exemption notice, credit notes and deposits, and exports for your accountant, including the FEC file. We are following the French e-invoicing reform closely: every step will be announced in our news.
